Koehler & Ritter was founded by Gotthard Koehler and Charles A. Ritter in the year 1867 in San Francisco, CA. Both its founders were former employees of Frederick R. Reichel (Around 1856-1867), another silversmith in San Francisco, CA. Koehler & Ritter manufactures both sterling silver flatware and hollow ware.
